The Jeep® Wrangler 392 is making a triumphant return for 2025, and it’s bringing its raw power and rugged charm back by popular demand. After the initial announcement in March that the Wrangler 392 would be discontinued, the outpouring of support and insistence from the Jeep community convinced the brand to give it another shot.
As Bill Peffer, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand North America, put it, “The Jeep community isn’t quite ready to say goodbye to the V-8-powered Wrangler.” So, the Wrangler 392 Final Edition is making a comeback for the 2025 model year.
This latest iteration of the Wrangler 392 promises to be the quickest and most powerful yet. It’s equipped with a class-exclusive 6.4-liter HEMI® V-8 engine that churns out a thrilling 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. This beast can rocket from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds and cover a quarter mile in a mere 13.0 seconds.
Off-road enthusiasts will appreciate its standard 8,000-pound-capacity Warn winch, impressive 11.6 inches of ground clearance, and a water fording capability of 34.5 inches. Additionally, it comes with heavy-duty rock sliders and a suite of trail-ready features, including the Selec-Trac two-speed transfer case, full-time four-wheel drive, and heavy-duty wide track Dana 44 axles with Tru-Lok electronic locking differentials.
The 2025 Wrangler 392 Final Edition will retain much of the standard equipment from the 2024 model. This includes exclusive hood and fender vent decals, Black Nappa leather-trimmed seats, and a specially monogrammed shifter medallion and swing gate plaque. It also continues to offer the standard 8,000-pound-capacity Warn winch, a half-inch suspension lift, and heavy-duty rock sliders. The Mopar fold-out swing gate table and the Xtreme 35 Package, which features bronze 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels and 35-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain tires, will also be standard. However, the Mopar triple loop grille guard and Mopar Jeep 83-piece toolkit, exclusive to the 2024 model, will not be included.
Production for the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 392 is set to kick off in the first quarter of 2025, with orders opening later this year. This model continues the legacy of the world’s most off-road capable and iconic SUV, embracing both its history and future.
